BASQUIAT is the CSCL environment designed & developed by CSCL Research Group at Osaka University. This application has three characteristics. First, This application supported synchronous chat-communication among many learners. Second, Each learner is automatically assigned one role to by this system, for example, Summary, Coordination, Question. They discuss with their colleague following this role. Finally, This application has Argument-Flow Visualization Board Interface to enhance learner's communication. Learners can argue with others very easily viewing this board . BASQUIAT is Cliant / Server system(C/S System), now We are designing and developing BASQUIAT Server & Cliant. it will work on Windows95/98 and WindowsNT platform.
